Locations: Mammoth area, Beaver Ponds trail, but continue straight upstream along Clematis Creek.  Mammoth area, Narrow Gauge trail, not long after it splits to the left from the Beaver Ponds trail. In both cases the plants were right on the edge of the trail. Also look for Piperia unalascensis (Alaska rein orchid) on the Narrow Gauge trail. 

Blooming: June 14, 2013, perfect blossoms. June 27, 2014, starting to wilt.
